Jackets for whatever spring brings

Adidas wanted to highlight their 2022 collection of spring jackets in a fresh, eye-grabbing way. We decided to lean into the duality of spring weather. (You know, it’ll be sunny and almost summery one minute, only to suddenly be pouring rain the next.) We wanted the photography to highlight this idea to this idea by playing with the balance of light vs. shadows, organic vs. engineered, and movement vs. pause.

My role was to concept and pitch our art direction, location, and styling choices to the client for this shoot, and then execute that vision on set. I wanted the styling to ride the line between “sporty” and “street,” while maintaining a very casual feel on the models. Easy to wear but fresh as hell.
