Alyssa Carson wants to be the first person on Mars.

Like, I legitimately don’t think it’s possible to have a crazier dream. Sure, Alyssa might only be 19 years old, but she has spent her entire life preparing for Mars—both mentally and physically. Our piece is meant to introduce the world to Alyssa as a dreamer and athlete*, but also simply share the story of a teenage girl with unmatched boldness.

As the Jr. AD on the project, I worked with the creative team to concept and pitch our idea to the client, went on the shoot and assisted during production, and worked on both art direction & design aspects during post-production process. This piece aired on @Nikesportswear’s Instagram shortly after the release of the AirMax 2090 on AirMax day. It was also a featured story on Nike.com.
