the Dub
The Dub, a Portland-based marijuana wholesale brand, needed a social media presence that would truly stand out in the saturated Oregon market.
The catch: no budget and no photographer.
Our move was to create a unique presence centered around a color-coordinated design that’s unlike any other marijuana brand. We used license-free stock photos, custom illustrations, and pictures of street art. I was specifically chosen for the project because we needed bold designs that evoked creativity and spoke to weed culture, while not falling into the common traps of strictly psychedelic art or sexualized content. You can be the final judge, but I think it turned out pretty sick.
